Congratulations Caleb and Jared! As CKYHSA continues to expand the academic support program, we are so excited to see more and more club opportunities! Please let us know if there are any other club or class opportunities you would like to see open up. CKY is always looking for leadership for these new endeavors. Let us know also if anyone is interested in taking up leading a club or class.
As CKY Homeschool Athletics is expanding its horizon, we are a program with a vision well beyond athletics, offering social and academic support to homeschool families across the Commonwealth. The vision for this direction includes the potential of such things as various activities through clubs and events, academic help through elective classes as well as tutoring options, and even guidance toward the various cooperative and group options in your geographic region.
Please share your interest or ideas within the Resources page of the Commonwealth of Kentucky (CKY) Homeschool website.
After two years of hard work from our board members and other leadership, CKY Homeschool Athletics has finally been able to attain the status of a Religious Nonprofit Organization under the protection of the 501c3 guidelines. Praise God! To fall under this title, CKY has had to meet certain requirements:
These requirements were all met with ease, and CKY can now partake in the following benefits:
(1) Exemption Requirements - 501(c)(3) Organizations. Internal Revenue Service.
(2) 501c3 Tax Exemption. CharityNetUSA.
Cubing will be our first club, with gatherings and workshops where you learn or refine the skill of solving the Rubik's Cube with great speed. Would you like us to consider other club options? Let us know!
