CKYHSA is a home education encouragement and support organization. We are a unique organization, welcoming students and student-athletes from all home-education methods and backgrounds, providing extra-curricular options as well as support across academic areas through classes, sports, clubs, and events.

Our mission is to help build an active homeschool community that glorifies the Lord,

encouraging complete devotion to Him,

while enjoying Christian fellowship and training of young athletes along the way.

Motivation

Our motivation for supporting and encouraging homeschool students is found in Christ alone, the center and attention of all we do, desiring that youth see Jesus, understanding above all else that Jesus saves.

We are motivated to do what we do:

according to the command and will of God,
in faith, because of trusting in Jesus,
for the glory of God, never for ourselves,
and springing from and motivated by love for Christ.

We individually and collectively are driven by this profitable question: What more can I do for my Lord Jesus Christ?

"Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful." - Titus 3:14

Method

We fulfill our mission by offering numerous home education support opportunities to kindergarten through 12th grade students.

We are committed to:

Submitting ourselves to Christ in all areas
Supporting homeschool families across the state
Encouraging a spirit of volunteerism within our organization
Developing programs and services that meet the needs of the growing population of homeschool families
Challenging student-athletes to:
- develop in skill, speed, and strength
- strive for excellence in academics
- serve their communities
- grow through faith in Christ

Guidance

We are guided by Romans 5:1-5:

Perseverance - through perseverance, leaders are created through leadership abilities being learned and cultivated

Character - character is built through perseverance, shown by patience, gratitude, and respect

Hope - leaders with character have hope, not in themselves, but in knowing that the glory of God is their eternal position
